The beginning: Listening before selling
We started by addressing very specific baking supply needs, working face to face with small and mid-sized businesses. That close, direct contact taught us something we never lost sight of: first, you understand the customer’s process then you propose the solution. That’s where trust began to take shape.
2013
Logistics discipline: Underpromise, always deliver
Early on, we understood that the real difference was delivering on time and exactly as promised. We fine-tuned routes, schedules, and essential inventory controls. That obsession with follow-through became the first building block of the agile, close service that defines us today.


2014
The name “Alfrente” is born:
A statement of intent
When it came time to choose a name, we chose to say exactly what we aspired to be: leading the solution, leading the response, and leading with trust. “Al frente” means being there first: taking responsibility, anticipating needs, and standing beside our customers when it matters most.
It wasn’t a creative exercise: it was a stance. The name aligned our purpose, our service, and the way we work.


2015
Strategic focus: Specializing in vegetable oils
We chose depth over breadth. We focused on vegetable oils and on mastering their applications across industries. Formal processes for product selection, batch-level traceability, and technical documentation followed. We moved from being suppliers to becoming technical partners.
2017
Portfolio professionalization: Quality, purity, and traceability
We established standardized criteria across our portfolio, including non-adulteration, recognized certifications, and verifiable traceability. Long-term relationships with trusted suppliers were strengthened, and flexible packaging formats were introduced to support a wide range of operational needs.
The commitment to “pure and traceable” evolved from an aspiration into a fully embedded process.


2019
Scalable proximity: Expert guidance and rapid response
As we served more customers across more industries, we raised the bar on service: record-time quotations, clear technical guidance, and consistent post-sale follow-up. The customer’s voice became part of our portfolio decisions—not about selling more, but about solving better.


2020
Scaling up: Sunflower oil imports
We took a significant step forward in both volume and complexity with the import of sunflower oil. It wasn’t just about bringing in product, it required rigorous controls, thorough documentation, and compliance at every point of the supply chain. We learned to operate at higher levels of demand without losing the closeness that defines us.


2022
First export: Avocado oil to Australia
We opened the door to international markets with avocado oil. Every shipment became a test of quality, traceability, and timing. We proved that the Alfrente formula (purity + service + and flawless documentation) works beyond Mexico as well.
2023
A purpose-driven portfolio: 27 products designed for real industries
Our portfolio evolved from a simple catalog into a solutions map by industry: food service, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and animal nutrition. We introduced formats and specifications that optimize processes, performance, and final product quality.


2024
10th Anniversary and a new identity: Honoring what we do best to go further
We celebrate our 10th anniversary by introducing a new identity that doesn’t change our essence: it makes it clearer. We reinforced our commitment to purity, traceability, and agile service, and integrated new lines such as UCO, focused on cleaner energy applications.
